Leadership
A team of healers, entrepreneurs, and advocates united by the belief that transformative care should be available to all.
Deborah Kadagian, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker, integrative psychotherapist, and founder of the Solas Foundation. With over 25 years of experience in mental health and holistic healing, she specializes in trauma recovery, addiction treatment, and psychedelic integration therapy.
She holds advanced certifications in Ayurvedic counseling and psychedelic integration. Her work bridges Western clinical models with indigenous and somatic approaches, developed through direct training in India and travels to Peru, Mexico, South Africa, and Costa Rica.
She is the producer of the award-winning documentary Healing the Mind: The Synthesis of Western Psychiatry and Ayurveda (featured on Gaia), and the author of The Alchemy of Grief: Conversations in Paint. The Solas Foundation reflects her dedication to equitable access to care — combining clinical depth with a soul-centered approach to healing.
Ozlem Comer is a Co-Founder of AwareHouse and a complementary medicine practitioner with a strong entrepreneurial and systems-oriented approach to healing. With a background in energy psychology, functional medicine, and bioenergetics, she brings a sophisticated understanding of the mind-body connection and the impact of transgenerational trauma on health and well-being.
Through her leadership at AwareHouse, Ozlem has built a transformative healing space that integrates trauma-informed care, somatic practices, and nervous system regulation. Her work is rooted in both science and intuitive insight, supporting individuals in addressing the underlying causes of imbalance and restoring resilience.
At Solas Foundation, Ozlem contributes a strategic and holistic perspective, grounded in the belief that access to deep, integrative healing should not be limited by financial means.
Sharon Juraszek is an Ayurvedic practitioner and entrepreneur with a doctorate in Ayurvedic Medicine from the California College of Ayurveda, complemented by advanced training in India. Her work focuses on the intersection of gut health, biodiversity, and whole-system healing.
In 2014, Sharon founded Fermentlicious, a mission-driven company dedicated to organic food production, environmental responsibility, and sustainable business practices. Under her leadership, the company has emphasized zero-waste principles and conscious sourcing, reflecting her commitment to both personal and planetary health.
Sharon brings to Solas Foundation a unique blend of clinical knowledge, entrepreneurial leadership, and lived healing experience. Having reversed her own diagnosis of Hashimoto's disease, she is deeply committed to expanding access to treatments that address root causes and support long-term transformation.
Dr. Reed is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician based in the Sarasota-Bradenton area, bringing over eight years of clinical experience across a wide range of medical settings — from outpatient primary care to emergency departments and ICUs.
What sets Dr. Reed apart is his genuinely open and curious approach to medicine. He is deeply interested in the emerging science and therapeutic potential of ibogaine and iboga, and believes that expanding the boundaries of conventional care is essential to truly serving patients. His philosophy has always centered on partnership — taking the time to understand each person, looking beyond symptoms, and helping people become the best versions of themselves.
Dr. Reed brings to the Solas Foundation both clinical credibility and a willingness to ask the questions that mainstream medicine is only beginning to explore. We are honored to have him on our board.
